What is WISE High Altitude Marketing?

Want to be a marketing rockstar and learn from the best? WISE High Altitude Marketing is a roundtable-style event designed for established entrepreneurs and those running a small business who want to learn new marketing/branding techniques to help grow their business and establish their brand. The event will help to outline how traditional advertising and marketing has somewhat shifted recently towards social media and guerrilla marketing, especially for small businesses and entrepreneurs. We will have local 'experts' in the field share their stories of challenges and success, what works and what doesn't and how to build a brand successfully. And for only $99, you get exclusive access to the best local experts and resources in all-things-marketing. What a deal!

About the event

As part of the event, you will be able to hear firsthand (and ask questions!) about what worked, what didn't and how to implement various strategies and creative marketing ideas to help grow your business and build your brand awareness. Participants will also have the chance to interface with our speakers/experts and ask them questions.

Topics covered during the event include: Guerrilla Marketing, Social Media/Networking, Corporate Branding, Advertising/PR, Personal Branding

History of WISE

In 2003, the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship, a program of the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, launched an exciting entrepreneurial venture called WISE: Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship. The one-day WISE symposium includes a wide variety of seminars and panel discussions offering practical advice, motivational speeches from successful women business owners of national and regional prominence, networking opportunities, a business expo and much more. We have contributed to the creation of an active network of women entrepreneurs in New York, launched a WISE website and fan page, established a WISE Center Advisory Board, and have recently celebrated the five-year anniversary of the WISE Women's Business Center, a year-round business center to connect this network of women entrepreneurs in all stages of business development. With the support of notable women entrepreneurs who travel many miles to address our WISE delegates and with the support of our remarkable sponsors, the WISE initiative continues to grow and to inspire many women across the Central New York region.
